It’s another day and another feature here at visuEats, and we’re happy about it. The wins keep coming and we’re giving thanks. In the latest interview on her media calendar, visuEats CEO Sophronia McKenzie shares how her desire for an elevated dining experience and really good food service started it all.
Desiring Really Good Food Service and Becoming the Solution!
As the saying goes, the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step and we all start somewhere. visuEats is no different in this regard. Like many startups, visuEats started as a concept that has been steadily building.
In charting the company’s development, Sophronia divulges to Shoutout Miami that visuEats started with a 2018 Happy Hour lightbulb moment. The proverbial lightbulb went off after not being able to visually discern menu items. From there, the decision was made to build a solution. That decision led to the UX design and then the development of the MVP version of the app we have today.
Beyond the App: visuEats and More!
The development of visuEats is one thing. However, building your life while building a startup comes with its own challenges and needs. One of the challenges Sophronia articulated was maintaining a healthy lifestyle while wearing many hats. Unsurprisingly, the software company CEO has used technology to find solutions to challenges like eating on time.
Admittedly, even with the best efforts, we all get low sometimes. Sophronia gets personal when she speaks of pulling added motivation from her family, friends, and visuEats team members during those moments. While admitting that her chosen path is not the easiest, Sophronia clearly has the attitude and work ethic to make dreams a reality.
