‘Tis the Season
Gee whiz, it’s Christmas! So, this Christmas, we are celebrating ‘the spirit of giving.’ After all, visuEats is built with the passionate foodie in mind and the restaurants serving them. Moreover, 2021 was a challenging year for many of us. In other words, we would all do well with unwinding and enjoying life a bit… or a lot. Therefore, it was a no-brainer to reward our visuEaters with a dining experience from one of our flagship restaurants.

Competition Rules
We hosted our giveaway exclusively on Instagram. As such, the eligibility rules were unique to active Instagram users. The rules were as follows:
- 8 lucky visuEaters will win US$35 gift cards to enjoy a delicious meal at Cellar 8 Wine, Bar & Bistro in Kingston, Jamaica

The Results of Our Successful Instagram Giveaway!
Firstly, 26 visuEaters entered the competition. Secondly, we decided to award 8 entrants with C8 Moments at Cellar 8! After that, we contacted each winner directly to receive his/her gift cards.
Each winner must use their gift cards within 6 months of winning. In the same vein, awardees can also use their gift cards on days (or meals) when no specials/discounts are applied. Our 8 winners were:

As intended, we announced the winners via our official Instagram page. So, our social media manager Janis hosted a special announcement live chat. During that live, three participants stood out. After that, those three participants were awarded one bonus C8 Moments gift certificate each. They are @shanz.mc, @namaste26therapy, and @bubz.klozet. Subsequently, our three additional winners made a total of 11.
In short, we are thrilled our first Instagram giveaway was successful. We successfully awarded the expected 8 gift cards. Moreover, we exceeded expectations! After all, we were able to award three additional certificates to visuEaters. In addition, the overall response was overwhelmingly positive. In a nutshell, we are grateful.
We are so inspired by our first successful Instagram giveaway. So much so, that we want to do it again! Just bigger and better. Of course, our upcoming launches are likely to be bigger and better.
